Using SyllabusAI

You must be at least 13 years old.
Use SyllabusAI only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of syllabi you upload.

Our Service

SyllabusAI scans syllabi and helps add events you approve to your Google Calendar.
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.
We strive for accuracy, but we do not guarantee error‑free results; please double‑check important dates.

Accounts

Sign‑in uses Google OAuth. Keep your account secure and do not share your login.
You’re responsible for all activity under your account.

Data & Privacy

We primarily store your email address for account management.
Uploaded syllabi are processed and then discarded after use.
We do not store or read your personal Google Calendar.

Third‑Party Services

We rely on third parties to operate the service, including Google (OAuth/Calendar), OpenAI (syllabus text processing), Supabase (auth/database), and Render (hosting). Your use of SyllabusAI also constitutes agreement to their respective terms and policies.

Disclaimers

SyllabusAI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non‑infringement. We are not liable for missed deadlines, incorrect calendar entries, data loss, or other damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we believe it’s necessary to protect the service or users. You may stop using SyllabusAI at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in California for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of SyllabusAI.
