• Uploaded Syllabi. Processed to extract dates and events; files are handled securely and discarded after use.
• Calendar Access. We request permission only to add events you approve. We do not store or read your personal Google Calendar.
• Basic Usage Data. Non-identifying logs may be generated to keep the service reliable (e.g., error logs).

How We Use Information

• Provide core functionality (scan syllabi and add events you approve to your Google Calendar).
• Manage your account and send essential service messages.
• Maintain, protect, and improve SyllabusAI.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third‑Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate SyllabusAI. These services may process data on our behalf as needed to deliver the product:

• Google OAuth — secure sign‑in and calendar permissions.
• OpenAI API — processing syllabus text to identify key dates.
• Supabase — authentication and database for user records (email).
• Render — hosting the web application.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

SyllabusAI is intended for users 13 and older. If you’re under 13, please do not use the service.

Your Choices

• Disconnect Google Calendar. You can revoke access in your Google account permissions at any time.
• Delete Your Account. Email us to delete your account and associated data (we primarily store your email).
